A bit about us

A story of turning a bad circumstance into something good.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 it became apparent to Shelia Bownds that she needed to help others going through similar situations. It was after a benefit barrel race on Valentines Day that Shelia and Chelsea decided they wanted to continue putting on a race for years to come so that they could bless families who were battling cancer. The following year Shelia and Chelsea's family and friends rallied together to put on the event we now call Wrap'N Up A Cure.

Our mission is to be able to help as many families as possible throughout the year who are struggling with cancer. Our only way to make this happen is with help from YOU! We work strictly off of sponsorships and entries to our races and without everyone who contributes we wouldn't be able to do what we do. We are so grateful for those of you that have been apart of this for all of these years. If you are interested in helping us please visit our                              tab to find out more!
